FORBID WHAT IS EVIL

The words “Ra”’ in the Hebrew Bible and “Munkar” in the Arabic Qur’an translate to “Evil”, which refers to everything that Allah/God has forbidden. Allah/God commands Leaders to ensure the forbidding of what is evil, enjoining what is right and upholding justice (Qur’an 3:104, Qur’an 4:135, and 1 Peter 3:11, Isaiah 32:1-5). Allah/God showers His Mercy on the obedient; and unleashes calamities on the transgressors (Qur’an 9:71 and Romans 2:8-10). This Book relates the bad leadership in Nigeria, which led to a bad followership; thereby making Allah/God to be unleashing calamities on the Nation as punishment. Nigeria has more Churches, more Mosques and more Prayer Warriors than any Country in the World. But the more the Prayer Warriors pray, the more the calamities fall on the Nation. The Book gives recommendations on the positive management of the calamities; but warns that the causes must be addressed first; otherwise nothing will change. Can a Nation like Nigeria expect peace, security, stability and development where poverty, unemployment, corruption, injustice, etc, have upset the socio-economic order? Where a few Political, Business, Religious and Traditional Leaders boast of billions of Naira, while the vast majority of the Citizens labour or beg just to get one meal a day? Where a few Leaders’ children are in private schools at home and abroad, while the Citizens’ children are in the streets begging or in non-functioning public schools? Where a few Leaders fly to overseas for medical-care and the Citizens have no basic healthcare? Where justice is for the rich and the powerful, while injustice is for the poor? Where saying the truth to Authority is a crime and praise singing them is a virtue? Where a plethora of other evils are increasingly being committed?
